NFL’s Week 14 Slate Delivers Playoff Stakes Across Conferences
Tommy Gilligan-Imagn Images

On Thursday, fans were given what was essentially a playoff game as the Cowboys and Lions faced off in Detroit. On Sunday, we’re set to see even more of those matchups in the NFL’s Week 14 slate.

It is December, and the league is more wide-open this year than any in recent memory. Those two facts combine for some absolute fireworks late in the season.

The power rankings across the NFL can best be described as “who knows?”

New England and Denver lead the pack as the only double-digit win teams, but both squads are surrounded by questions about their legitimacy as contenders. On the NFC side, it’s Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Green Bay, and San Francisco.

We all thought it was Matthew Stafford’s Rams who were the true consensus in the conference, but they just got thoroughly beaten up by the Carolina Panthers.

In short, the end of this season is going to be wild. As both conferences fight for positioning, the fans must have all their bases covered as we sit down to watch it all play out tomorrow. Here, we’ll go over the key games so you can do just that.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6) @ Baltimore Ravens (6-6)

12:00 PM CST Start Time – BAL -7.0

Does it get any better in the AFC than Steelers v Ravens in December with the AFC North division lead on the line?

That is peak Christmas-season football right there.

It will be Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson squaring off, now that both are healthy, and the winner will either regain possession of first place or will tighten their grip on it heading into Week 15.

As it stands right now, these two teams are sliding in opposite directions, with the Steelers 2-3 in their last five and the Ravens 4-1 in theirs.

As far as noon games go, this is about as good as you can get.

2. Indianapolis Colts (8-4) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4)

12:00 PM CST Start Time – IND -1.5

Can you say déjà vu? Kicking off alongside Pittsburgh and Baltimore is a second set of AFC teams with the same record in the same division.

The Colts and Jaguars are in a nasty fight for the AFC South title after Daniel Jones and Indy started red-hot in 2025. Just like the previous matchup, however, Indy is 2-3 in their last five, while Jacksonville is 4-1.

Against all odds and expectations, this has become a true race for the division.

Indianapolis is favored, but by a razor-thin margin. If the Jags pull it out, the entire outlook of their season and true contention odds change.

You’ll want to have this one on the screen as MVP candidate Jonathan Taylor tries to will his Colts to victory against Trevor Lawrence’s Jags. If the spread is any indicator, it will come down to the wire.

3. Chicago Bears (9-3) @ Green Bay Packers (8-3-1)

3:25 PM CST Start Time – GB -7.0

You’d think it was rivalry week in the NFL with the way the schedule has unfolded in Week 14.

Indeed, we have a third inner-division matchup that could decide the fate of the standings. The Bears and Packers will face off in Lambeau with the NFC North lead, and potentially the one-seed in the conference, on the line.

Right now, Caleb Williams’ Bears sit atop the division and conference at 9-3, but Jordan Love comes into this as a seven-point favorite, meaning they are heavily favored to take Chicago’s place.

Chicago-Green Bay in the December cold with real playoff implications is one of the NFL’s best storylines, and after what felt like forever, it has returned to our screens.

This could be the game of the week if the Bears keep it tight with the Green and Gold.
