Nickelodeon aired the New Orleans Saints-Chicago Bears wild-card round matchup exactly how you'd expect. The broadcast was full of the network's signature green slime and even featured clips from the iconic television series "SpongeBob Squarepants."
Spectators provided some mixed reviews as the Saints and Bears battled to move on to the divisional round. Some football fans loved the fun-natured broadcast, while others weren't enjoying it in the slightest.

I thought the Nickelodeon broadcast was going to feel very weird, but fun. Instead, it's kinda making me feel like this is just simply better? I dk game hasn't even started yet so I guess we'll see how that goes

I just asked our daughter what she likes about the Nickelodeon broadcast: "They're explaining it. Like, in a way I can understand it as a kid. And there graphics are cool!"

I think the NFL, CBS and Nick hit a homerun here.

It's safe to say a majority of folks liked the broadcast. If they didn't want to watch the game on Nickelodeon, they could watch the game normally on CBS.
At the time of this writing, the Saints led the Bears 7-0 at the end of the first quarter.
