Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will have to put his NFL career on hold indefinitely.

He suffered an ACL injury during Super Bowl LVI which he won with the Los Angeles Rams.

For now, he will focus on his rehabilitation and hope that he will be ready to take the field sooner than later.

But even if he is sidelined, Beckham is still listening to some offers for a new contract.

For now, he is a free agent after his deal with the Rams expired.

Even if he hasn’t made a decision, Beckham might be inclined to re-sign a deal with the Rams.

Other teams might offer him a more lucrative contract but he might have given a hint on where he wants to play next.

Beckham responded to the tweets posted by Jon-John Robinson and Jake Ellenbogen.

Ellenbogen said, “I really don’t see the #Rams signing James Bradberry. I’m sorry fans, the Rams have Jalen Ramsey, Troy Hill, Decobie Durant, Robert Rochell, David Long & Derion Kendrick. I just don’t see a pathway here.”

To which Robinson responded, “Then you don’t know the @RamsNFL culture. They always take proven commodities if it fits the #plan and #culture however not before bringing back @obj.”

Beckham shared his thoughts regarding this exchange, saying, “They know where I wanna be just can’t play for free.”

Beckham Is Aware Of The Market

Beckham knows that the surging wide receiver should also increase his compensation whenever his next deal comes.

After all, he was on his way to becoming Super Bowl LVI MVP if not for that injury.

He would like to cash in based on what his contemporaries are receiving.

Therefore, he is betting on himself, knowing that he’s worthy of a top-dollar deal.
