The Ohio State Buckeyes are set to continue their recent program tradition of featuring some of the best wide receivers in the country. In the 2025 recruiting class, Ohio State signed 5-star wideout Quincy Porter and three 4-star receivers.
For 2026, Ohio State has received a commitment from 5-star Chris Henry Jr. But that commitment might not be completely solid.
On3's Hunter Shelton wrote on Feb. 18 that Henry has scheduled visits with three other schools this summer. Henry will also visit Ohio State again.
"Henry told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday night that he’s locked in four official visits. He’ll first see Miami (May 30), then hit USC (June 6) and Oregon (June 13) before rounding things out with Ohio State (June 20)," wrote Shelton.
Shelton added that Oregon and USC "are working tirelessly" to convince Henry to flip and stay on the west coast.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds, Henry currently attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif. The 247Sports composite rankings rated him as the No. 1 receiver in the 2026 recruiting class.
