Big Ten Media Days began on Tuesday, and the defending College Football Playoff National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes were at the forefront of the action. The Buckeyes brought a strong contigent out to Las Vegas, Nevada, to represent themselves.

And Ohio State superstar and phenom freshman Jeremiah Smith made sure his presence was felt, as usual. Upon arriving to the conference, Smith was spotted by Cleveland.com reporter Stephen Means. One of the first things everyone noticed was who Smith was showing off on his tee shirt.

Smith debuted an NBA Jam-style shirt with himself and former teammate Emeka Egbuka featured. The Buckeye tandem's ratings and likeness were presented just like the old video game, and this has been a popular style over the last few years.

The preseason Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year led the conference and Buckeyes with 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns in his freshman campaign. An expected top five pick in the 2027 NFL Draft already, Smith's one of the most dominant athletes we've seen in college football in years.

Egbuka was no slouch, either. The first-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers racked up 81 receptions for 1,011 yards and 10 scores. He finished his Ohio State career as the leading pass-catcher in program history.

Smith will now need a revamped Buckeyes offense in 2025. With a new quarterback, running back room, and surrounding cast of receivers and tight ends, there will be more pressure and focus on Smith to follow up his debut season with a possible Heisman Trophy run.
