Claypool is a former second round pick out of Notre Dame that turned heads as a rookie with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2020, catching 62 passes for 873 yards, and nine touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Claypool, who is undeniably talented, he hasn't been able to recreate the success from his rookie season. In fact, he's basically been a non-factor the last couple of years while playing for the Chicago Bears and the Miami Dolphins.
Despite a couple of rough seasons, Claypool is still confident in his abilities, as evidenced by a quote from last fall that's going viral again now that the Bills have signed the former Notre Dame standout.
Last year, during an appearance on the I Am Athlete podcast, Claypool proclaimed that he's a top three wide receiver in the NFL.

That's quite a claim for someone who caught eight passes for 77 yards last season.
As you can imagine, the internet had some fun with Claypool's old viral quote on Friday, joking that Buffalo finally got quarterback Josh Allen a top three wide receiver.

Hey, maybe it works out for Claypool in Buffalo. History, however, suggests that he'll likely be a non-factor for the Bills in 2024.
