No NFL team has gone undefeated in the regular season since the New England Patriots in 2007. Las Vegas gives one squad a fighting chance at making history.
After the NFL unveiled the 2025 schedule, ESPN Bet published point spreads for each game. According to ESPN's David Purdam, the Buffalo Bills are the only team favored to win every game.
However, the Bills are favored to beat the three teams with shorter odds to win the Super Bowl. At +700, they're listed below the Philadelphia Eagles (+600), Kansas City Chiefs (+650), and Baltimore Ravens (+650) to finally capture the Lombardi Trophy.
Crucially, Buffalo plays all of those prominent title contenders at home. The Bills open the season as 1.5-point favorites over Baltimore in a rematch of last season's 27-25 AFC Divisional Round win at Orchard Park.
Oddsmakers have plenty of time to reassess before the Bills host the Chiefs in Week 9 and the Eagles in Week 17. They're 2.5-point favorites over Kansas City with a 1.5-point edge over Philadelphia. Home-field advantage typically nets a three-point boost in the spread.
Meanwhile, their road slate is far more manageable. Of their eight away opponents, only the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers posted a winning record in 2024. Buffalo is a 3.5-point favorite at Houston in Week 12 and a 4.5-point favorite to defeat Pittsburgh in Week 13.
The Bills also have a tough Week 14 home game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Yet 10 games against the AFC East and the NFC South give them the NFL's fifth-easiest schedule, per Warren Sharp,
"The Bills are tied at the top of our power ratings (with the Ravens and Eagles) and have the highest win total on the board," Joey Feazel, NFL oddsmakers for Caesars Sportsbook, told ESPN. "They have the ability to take advantage of their simpler schedule and weaker division."
Purdam noted that the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, and Cleveland Browns are each favored to win just one game in 2025. The Patriots, who were underdogs in all 17 games to start the 2024 campaign, are favored in 11 of 15 contests beyond the Bills.
