OSU Football Legacy, 2026 Wide Receiver Receives Offer

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are continuing to build on their culture which has a rich history and plenty of recent success. They're doing so by succeeding with what they currently have on the roster and in the transfer portal. Still, the Cowboys remain forward-focused, and they're proving so with their recent offer of a 2026 wide receiver.

On Thursday, Tatum Bell II reported an offer from Oklahoma State. If the wide receiver from Frisco, TX, sounds familiar, it's because he is the son of Tatum Bell, a former Oklahoma State running back and 2004 second-round pick in the NFL Draft.

Bell is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound wide receiver from Heritage in Frisco, TX, in the 2026 recruiting class. As mentioned, he's a legacy offer and would bring a rich history to the program, as his father played in Stillwater for four years, posting two consecutive 1,000-plus rushing yards seasons.

His father scored 36 total touchdowns -- 34 of those being rushing touchdowns -- in his four seasons at Oklahoma State. Of course, Bell is a wide receiver, but playing a skill position for the Cowboys seems to be a solid decision as the program has a rich history of developing and finding talents at skill positions.

According to 247Sports, Bell posted 647 receiving yards on 50 receptions with seven receiving touchdowns in the 2023 high school football season. The 2026 recruit holds offers from Texas Tech, TCU, Houston and Colorado State.

Bell is going to continue to receive Power Five offers, and Oklahoma State getting in early could be huge as they also have the recruiting angle of him being a legacy recruit.
