Green Bay Packers quarterback and reigning NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers has not yet publicly spoken about his alleged issues with the front office that led to reports surfacing ahead of the opening night of this year's draft that he did not want to play another down for the club.
That may soon change.
Kenny Mayne, who announced on May 10 he's leaving ESPN after 27 years with the company, has tweeted that Rodgers will appear on "SportsCenter" next Monday night for Mayne's last show:
It’s going down.

Packers wide receiver Davante Adams and running back Aaron Jones said last week they hope Rodgers will remain with Green Bay through the start of the season, but neither was able to offer any positive news for Packers fans. On Friday, head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters he had "nothing new to update" on the Rodgers situation but added: "We want him back in the worst way."
Rodgers continues to be linked with the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos in trade rumors and betting odds, but Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst has insisted he's not trading the 37-year-old who is signed through 2023.
