The Green Bay Packers advanced to 9-3-1 on Sunday, defeating the Chicago Bears 28-21. They're looking to stay hot on a four-game winning streak, with an upcoming Week 15 matchup against the 11-2 Denver Broncos.

In the win over Chicago, Jacobs was effective, rushing the ball 20 times for 86 yards and one touchdown. It was the ninth game this season that he's scored at least one touchdown.

The 27-year-old running back remains a key piece to the Packers' offense, which ranks 10th in the NFL in points per game (24.8). Green Bay currently sits in first place in the NFC North, just ahead of the 9-4 Bears.

On Wednesday, the Packers revealed their first Week 15 injury report. It revealed that Jacobs was a non-participant because of a knee injury.

The running back has been dealing with knee issues over the past several weeks; however, this is the first time he has been listed as a non-participant since Week 12. It's concerning, considering that Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings is the only game he's missed this season.

He's been the Packers' workhorse this season, leading the team in carries (206), yards (817) and touchdowns (12). He's also hauled in 31 receptions for 251 on 38 targets.

His ability to play is especially crucial going up against an impressive Denver defense. The Broncos rank second in the NFL in rushing yards per game allowed (89) and fourth in points per game allowed (18.1).

The Packers have two more days of practice, though, and whether Jacobs' availability improves will be an indicator of whether or not he'll suit up. His official game status does not need to be announced until Friday.

Kickoff between the Packers and Broncos is Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET at Empower Field at Mile High, airing on CBS.
