The Green Bay Packers have the potential to be elite on defense in 2022. General manager Brian Gutekunst has put resources into the defense year after year — including two first-round picks from this past NFL draft — and it's a unit that's feeling confident heading into a do-or-die season for the Packers.
Green Bay's defense is so confident, in fact, that smack-talking Aaron Rodgers and the offense is apparently now on the menu.
Cornerback Rasul Douglas was asked by a reporter if he feels Green Bay's defense has been tested by Rodgers and the offense this training camp.
He spit hot fire in his response.
"Nah. They can't mess with us. They can't mess with us. Our offense — they not ready for us," Douglas said.

For what it's worth, Douglas has runway to talk smack right now.
He had an epic season in 2021 after the Packers picked him up off the Arizona Cardinals practice squad mid-season. Not only did he get the walk-off interception against his former team, but he finished the campaign with five total interceptions — including two taken back for touchdowns.
The Packers rewarded Douglas with a three-year, $21M contract and he's now a key part of a defense that features potential superstars such as edge rushers Rashan Gary and Preston Smith, defensive tackle Kenny Clark, rookie linebacker Quay Walker, and fellow cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Eric Stokes.
The Pack is stacked on defense.
