Packers wide receiver Christian Watson is unlikely to miss significant time after suffering an injury Sunday against the Denver Broncos, and might not even miss a game.
Wednesday, the Packers received a positive update on Watson’s status, when the star wide receiver returned to practice ahead of Saturday night’s pivotal showdown against the NFC North rival Chicago Bears.
It appears that even the short week of practice might not even be a roadblock to Watson returning.
Watson suffered a chest injury against the Broncos, and was transported to a local hospital as a precaution, but appears that the injury isn’t significant.
So far this season, Watson has blossomed into one of quarterback Jordan Love’s favorite targets and has steadily improved since returning from a torn ACL suffered in the 2024 regular season finale against the Bears.
Watson has caught 28 passes for 481 yards and five touchdowns in his first eight games since returning, and could look to build on that production as early as Saturday night at Soldier Field.
