The Tennessee Titans are nearing the end of their GM search this week, wrapping up on Thursday with Buccaneers Assistant GM John Spytek and Packers VP of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan.

- Chiefs AGM Mike Borgonzi
- Buccaneers AGM John Skytek
- Bears AGM Ian Cunningham
- Colts AGM Ed Dodds
- Bills Dir. Player Personnel Terrance Gray
- Packers VP Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan
Sullivan has been regarded as somewhat of a favorite for the Titans job because of his relationship with Chad Brinker, also a Green Bay man at his core. Well during a Thursday press conference, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst was asked about Sullivan and gave an eyebrow-raising response:
Asked about Packers vp of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan -- who has multiple GM interviews -- Brian Gutekunst at one point said:

"He'll be missed."
Sounds like Gutey knows JES is getting a GM job
“He’ll be missed” is a pretty definitive, straightforward answer. That sounds like an employee you’re confident you won’t be seeing around the office again next year.
Sullivan has been connected to all three GM openings this cycle: the Titans, Raiders, and Jets. And while his connection to Titans President of Football Operations Chad Brinker is a real selling point, it doesn’t mean Sullivan is a lock for the Tennessee opening over the other two.
With Sullivan going last in both rounds of Titans interviews, it wouldn’t be shocking to even see a “don’t let him leave the building” situation in the coming hours. Perhaps the Titans will offer him the job before he ever leaves town. Whatever the case, his old boss seems to have confirmed he’ll be getting one of these jobs eventually.
