Packers Insider Declares It Is Time For A Major Change
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Is the reign of Aaron Rodgers finished for the Green Bay Packers?

Is it finally time for Jordan Love to show what he is made of?

We might not have to wonder too much longer.

Whether it was truly due to injury, or simply wanting to see what they had in their younger option at the position, the Packers made a quarterback change during their Sunday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

When Rodgers was taken off the field due to injury, some Packers fans were concerned while others rejoiced.

Love finally got his chance, and on Sunday Night Football, no less.

And boy, did he put on a show.

All You Need Is…Love?

Whether Rodgers will admit it or not, he has not been playing up to his usual standards.

In last night’s game, Rodgers threw for 140 yards, and two touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions.

For the 2022 campaign, Rodgers has already thrown nine interceptions and only 21 touchdowns.

It’s safe to say that his thumb injury has been hindering his performance, and old age might be finally catching up to him.

When Love came into the game, he immediately threw a great pass to wideout Christian Watson, turning that into a 63-yard touchdown pass.

Love finished Sunday Night Football with a mark of 6/9 on his passes for 113 yards, and the aforementioned touchdown pass.

Love energized the offense, and although the Packers ended up losing the game, he provided a much-needed jolt to a team that was on life support.

Will Love start the rest of the season?

Is this the last time that we see Rodgers in a Packers uniform?
