The coaching carousel is picking up speed, and Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley is among the most coveted coordinators to fill the top openings.

After the Miami Dolphins fired Mike McDaniel, there are now eight vacant jobs, and Hafley could draw interest from several, interviewing for a few, and it could prove difficult for head coach Matt LaFleur and Green Bay to keep him in the fold.

Packers’ Jeff Hafley drawing interest from multiple NFL teams

According to multiple reports, several teams are already lining up to interview Hafley.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler and MMQB’s Albert Breer report that the Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, and Atlanta Falcons have already sought permission from the Packers to interview Hafley.

Tennessee could be an attractive destination for Hafley, given former No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward’s presence at quarterback, in a division with a navigable path from worst-to-first in the AFC South.

Meanwhile, over the past two offseasons, both the Cardinals and Falcons have made substantial commitments to the defensive side of the ball, both via the NFL Draft and in free agency.

If Hafley is looking for a roster loaded with defensive talent, these could be solid options for his first foray into becoming an NFL head coach.
