Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love is missing one of his best downfield weapons, with wide receiver Jayden Reed expected to be sidelined for several weeks after going under the knife to address injuries to his shoulder and foot.

Reed dealt with a Jones fracture in the offseason but braved through it in the early goings of the 2025 campaign. In Week 2, he broke his collarbone during a game against the Washington Commanders in a “Thursday Night Football” matchup at Lambeau Field. That injury forced him to have surgery.

Reed is already out of the hospital, but before that, he shared a livestream video via Instagram while still feeling the effects of anesthesia.

During the livestream, Reed, who led the Packers in the 2024 season with 857 receiving yards to go with six touchdowns, declared that Green Bay is going to the Super Bowl.

Jordan Love reacts to Reed’s video after surgery

On Thursday, Love was asked if he had seen Reed’s video, but he did not have much of a reaction to it.

“No comment, no comment, a smiling Love told reporters. “I’m glad he’s doing alright.”

That’s really all that matters for now with regards to Reed. It’s good news for Love and the Packers that the wideout’s surgery went fine.

Without Reed, Love still has plenty of great targets to throw at, including wide receiver Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks and rookie Matthew Golden.

On the season, Love has 480 passing yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions on a 66.0 percent completion rate.
