The Chicago Bears suffered a 31-7 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. It snapped their two-game winning streak, giving their rivals bragging rights in the latest chapter of their rivalry. Keisean Nixon also sent a savage message to the visiting team on Instagram.
The veteran cornerback recorded six combined tackles, including four solo efforts. Green Bay’s defense suffocated Chicago’s offense, forcing interceptions and delivering several tackles for loss. The win improved the team’s record to 3-2, tying the Bears and Detroit Lions with the same win-loss slate in the NFC North.
Chicago, on the other hand, started Tyson Bagent under center for the second straight game. Caleb Williams continues to recover from a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. However, he could return to practice this week and play on Sunday.
Nixon posted two photos and two videos. The first clip showed him stopping Luther Burden III in the backfield, while the other was him celebrating on the field after the victory. He also fired a shot at the Bears in his caption.
“I Don’t Know Who Gassed Dem Up
#K9,” Nixon wrote.

Green Bay linebacker Zaire Franklin responded to the trash talking of Burden. It proved that the rivalry runs deep and that both team play for more than just a win.
The Bears will next face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A home game follows in a short week on “Thursday Night Football” versus the New England Patriots. Meanwhile, the Packers will host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
The teams will meet again in Week 16 at Soldier Field. It already promises to be a fiery matchup, and tensions could reach fever pitch, particularly in the days leading to it.
