The Green Bay Packers have a plethora of injuries as they get ready for the playoffs. With all the ailments, including the injury to Jordan Love, there is a lot to worry about as Week 18 approaches. Packers coach Matt LeFleur admitted that he was baffled by the numerous injuries that reared up, including the transactions to cover them, according to a post by Weston Hodkiewicz.
“LaFleur on the 16 transactions this week: ‘I’ve never been a part of something like this, in regards to the injuries that happened last game,” Hodkiewicz wrote on X.
As the Packers are settled into the seventh seed, they prepare for the Minnesota Vikings with nothing to play for. The objective is to keep core players healthy before an anticipated matchup with the winner of the No. 2 seed. Ultimately, that opponent could be the Chicago Bears.
Things have gotten so bad in Green Bay that the Packers added Trevon Diggs as a depth move. Other injuries to core players include Josh Jacobs, who is dealing with knee and ankle ailments. Additionally, the Packers lost Micah Parsons for the season, along with Nate Hobbs, Zayne Abderson, and Tucker Kraft.
