Tucker Kraft has emerged as a breakout star, and one of the most dominant tight ends across the NFL, but the Packers may be without another of quarterback Jordan Love’s favorite targets in Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns.
With top receiver Jayden Reed slated to miss at least the next six to eight weeks, Love and the Packers’ offense may be missing Kraft on Sunday afternoon, as well.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was noncommittal about Kraft’s chances of suiting up against the Browns, with the tight end officially listed as questionable due to a knee injury.
Kraft has been nothing short of spectacular for the Packers, averaging a prolific 17.5 yards per reception on eight catches for 140 yards and two scores this season.
If Kraft is unable to go, the Packers will turn to veteran tight end Luke Musgrave, who has battled through his own injuries to open his NFL career.
Through his first three seasons, Musgrave has caught 44 passes for 433 yards and a touchdown. He enters Sunday’s contest with three catches for 36 yards, so far this season.
