Just like nearly the entire nation, Green Bay Packers superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons had his attention on the big game on Sunday, as the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots battled it out at Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
The former Penn State Nittany Lions star, however, had something to say about the way the game was being covered.
“Commentary of this game is hilarious!! I think everyone but them knew this would be defensive game!” Parsons shared in a social media post on X, formerly Twitter, during the first half of the contest.

It was definitely a struggle for both the Seahawks and the Patriots in the first 30 minutes of regulation, with Seattle kicker Jason Myers scoring all the points from either side with his kicks in the first half.
Seattle and New England had solid stop units capable of bottling up the other side, but in the Super Bowl, it was the Seahawks’ defense that made the bigger difference. The Seahawks forced three turnovers, including two interceptions, and had six sacks on Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.
Parsons, who is still in the early stages of his recovery journey from a season-ending ACL injury, can take inspiration from what the Seahawks’ defense did to the Patriots, as he looks to be ready by Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season — which will be his second with Green Bay.
In his first season with the Packers, Parsons recorded a total of 12.5 sacks and 19 solo tackles with two forced fumbles in 14 games, while earning his fifth Pro Bowl nod.
