Packers player has disrespectful comment about Bears

One Green Bay Packers player was not willing to give the Chicago Bears any credit following Saturday’s dramatic NFC Wild Card game.

The Bears rallied from 21-3 down to beat the Packers 31-27 at Soldier Field in Chicago, Il. on Saturday. Chicago was heavily aided by a number of Green Bay mistakes, most notably a brutal game by kicker Brandon McManus.

Subsequently, Packers safety Javon Bullard thought the Packers handed the game to the Bears, and did so for the second time this season.

“No disrespect to them, but it ain’t s–t that they did. It’s us. We gotta finish,” Bullard told reporters. “You know we whoopin’ they a– the whole game, but that’s us. We gotta finish. They ain’t done s–t special. We ain’t finish last time, we ain’t finished this time. That’s some s–t we gotta work on within us. Chicago ain’t done s–t special.”

Bullard arguably has something of a point. The Packers had a 27-16 lead with 6:36 remaining and failed to see it out. They also had a 16-6 lead with five minutes to go in their last regular season meeting, which included a rare onside kick recovery by the Bears.

The Bears made their own fair share of mistakes. In crunch time, however, they made the plays and Green Bay did not. That is why this game will sting for quite some time among Packers players and staff.
