Packers QB Aaron Rodgers compares quarantine to 'house arrest'

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is sick of staying home... aren't we all, but he's now comparing coronavirus quarantine and social distancing to house arrest of all things.

"I think we all were buying into the idea of quarantine to flatten the curve," Rodgers said on Friday, according to TMZ. "And, I think there are a lot of questions now that it’s more of a house arrest to find a cure with people wondering exactly what that means as far as the future of the country and the freedoms we’re allowed to have at this point."

That's a little excessive, Mr. Rodgers, especially when the people on house arrest have way more restrictions. He, like a majority of people, can still get takeout, go for walks, enjoy a nice day outside... people on house arrest can't. Not to mention he lives in a gorgeous Malibu, Calif. mansion on the beach.

He's now spending quarantine life with his girlfriend and former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick in that home... rough life.

Rodgers had a run-in with COVID-19 in March as he left Peru moments before the country's airport shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Besides his trip to Peru, the 36-year-old also has been in the news quite a bit lately as he made comments about not being thrilled with the Packers selecting his apparent heir in Jordan Love during the 2020 NFL Draft.
