Packers RB Aaron Jones carted to locker room with apparent knee injury vs Chargers

There’s a very concerning situation brewing in Green Bay during their home game against the Los Angeles Chargers as Packers running back Aaron Jones left the field with what appeared to be a knee injury.

Following a play in the second quarter of the Chargers-Packers game on Sunday afternoon, Jones went down grabbing at his knee and appeared to be in some serious pain. According to Packers reporter Peter Bukowski, the sequence of events did not look good.

“Aaron Jones down grabbing his knee and the replay showed a gnarly twist of his leg. That looked really bad,” he tweeted.

Shortly after he went down and then walked off the field with some help, another Packers source, Matt Schneidman, quickly reported to Twitter that Jones was carted to the locker room: “Aaron Jones is being carted to the locker room with a towel over his head.”

With that development, Jones was then officially listed as “questionable to return” by Green Bay. Here was Aaron Jones exiting the field following the injury:
