With the NFL owners meeting this week, it only means that the fate of one of the Philadelphia Eagles' most successful plays will be decided.
ESPN insider Adam Schefter reported Tuesday morning that the vote for the Eagles' Tush Push ban is not expected until Wednesday. The league's owners will also vote on a reseed playoff format and whether players can participate in the 2028 Olympics in flag football.
Back in April, there was a dead tie in the vote to ban the Tush Push at 16-16. For a proposal to get passed, at least 24 out of the 32 owners must vote in favor of it.
On Monday night, the Green Bay Packers' revised proposal was leaked to show what they have adjusted.

The revised proposal includes the following language:
The Packers are asking for a 10-year penalty "for assisting the runner, interlocking interference, or illegal use of hands, arms, or body by the offense." Their reasoning on the proposal is for "player safety" and "pace of play."
There have been zero reported cases of players getting injured on the play. Some clarity on "pace of play" could use some explanation, as this play typically takes three to five seconds, so it goes quickly into the next play.
Green Bay's revised proposal might be enough to move the needle to get it pasted. The concerns with other team owners were that it wasn't clear enough to understand which part of the play it was being questioned.
With half the league already on board with banning the play that has made Philadelphia so successful, there is enough concern that there is a high chance it passes. Eagles fans are hoping for the best, but if it goes sideways, there is already a backup plan to start including fullback Ben VanSumeren on more short-yard plays.
Let this proposal pass, and the Eagles will be on their revenge tour in 2025.
