What do the Green Bay Packers want in exchange for four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers? That is the million-dollar question that has been debated all offseason. Appearing on "Get Up!" on ESPN this morning, NFL insider Adam Schefter claimed that Green Bay is seeking a package similar to what the Detroit Lions received from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for Matthew Stafford.
.@AdamSchefter has the latest on Aaron Rodgers:
"I will not be surprised if Aaron Rodgers tells Pat McAfee, yes, that he wants to play for the Jets. But as you've been saying all week long, there are layers to this whole situation." pic.twitter.com/3QojctyHaq

If the Packers get the same haul that the Lions got for Stafford, that will mean they would receive several draft picks and a player. When the Lions traded Stafford, they received two first-round picks, a third-round pick, and Jared Goff.
Obviously, more draft picks are extremely attractive to Green Bay, a team that is known for building through the draft rather than nabbing big-name free agents. If Green Bay is asking for a player in return, there has been one name popular among Packers’ fans when discussing a player coming back in a trade: Elijah Moore. Throughout the 2022, Moore was vocal about how unhappy he was with the lack of targets he was getting. With Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson and Aaron Rodgers favorite Allen Lazard on the 2023 roster, it is not likely that his role increases either.
Given the Packers’ poor run of third round Draft picks, perhaps it would be best to ask for a pick in a different round.
