Pacman Jones brings former teammate Chris Henry's son to Bengals camp

It's funny how life works sometimes. We develop friendships and bonds that seemingly go beyond the bounds of family. Similar circumstances bring people together and forge relationships that the elements themselves couldn't tear apart. Just ask former NFL star Adam "Pacman" Jones about that, who forged such a friendship with a former teammate who died too soon, Chris Henry.

They were teammates at West Virginia University and then both played for the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals, though at different times.

Henry died in December 2009 when he fell off the back of a pickup truck. He was survived by two sons, a daughter, and his fiancée, Loleini Tonga. He also left behind his friend Pacman, the once-controversial NFL star.

In fact, Jones recently revealed that he ended up adopting Henry's sons as his own.

“Everyone know me and Chris was best friends in college,” Jones told Shannon Sharpe (h/t SBNation). "I’m still close with his whole entire family. I’m still close with Loleini... we’re inseparable. We’ve been working on this for three-[to]-four years, and we finally got it done like six, seven months ago.”

For as touching and heartwarming as that is, it's also cool to see that Jones is helping keep Henry's NFL legacy alive.

In fact, look who he recently brought to Bengals' training camp: Chris Henry Jr.

Not only is Chris Henry Jr. the spitting image of his biological father, but he's also apparently a pretty darn good football player as well.
