The Carolina Panthers have lost one of their offensive linemen for the season.

Center Austin Corbett suffered a torn biceps in his team’s 36-10 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 5 on Sunday. Corbett told reporters that he got hurt while trying to push the pile on a pass completion in the third quarter of the game.

This marks the third year in a row that Corbett’s season will be cut short due to an injury.

In 2022, Corbett suffered a torn ACL injury in the team’s final game of the season. Last year, Corbett hurt his knee after just four games and missed most of the season.

This year, Corbett was injured in his fifth game of the season and is now done.

This was Corbett’s third season with Carolina. The 2018 second-round pick by the Cleveland Browns was traded to the Rams in 2019 and won the Super Bowl with them in the 2021 season.
