The Carolina Panthers stretched their record to 3-0 this season with a 24-9 win over the Houston Texans on Thursday night. However, it was a costly victory.
Rookie cornerback Jaycee Horn suffered multiple broken bones in his foot, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He'll undergo more tests on Friday, but the injury isn't necessarily season-ending, per Rapoport.

Horn exited Thursday's game in the third quarter with a non-contact injury to his right foot. He was taken to the locker room on a golf cart and didn't return.
The eighth-overall pick was instantly named a starter this year and has played a significant role in Carolina's top-ranked defense. In three games this season, he has one interception, one pass defensed and five tackles.
In addition to Horn, the Panthers also lost All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey to a hamstring injury. Rapoport said he may miss some time, which has yet to be determined.
Horn, quite clearly, will not play next weekend's game against the Dallas Cowboys. However, if McCaffrey doesn't play, the Panthers could have a difficult time slicing through the Dallas defense.
