Parker Washington is proud of his team for bouncing back after that late hit on Trevor Lawrence

Parker Washington spoke to the media after the game about the touchdown he scored and if it makes a difference who is playing quarterback.

On the touchdown he scored

Parker: He was pretty much playing catch-technique that was in Cover 0 and he’d been pretty, like, handsy throughout the game. So, he was just catching, so I was like, ‘Ok I have to get to my depth’. So, I just wrapped around him. It was cool to get an and-one like basketball, so it was pretty cool for that.

On if there’s a transition or difference whenever QB Mac Jones or QB Trevor Lawrence are playing quarterback

Parker: No, I feel like, as an offense, we don’t change what we are doing. We’re still confident. It’s just a new face, it’s Mac Jones in the game. I’m excited when he’s in the game, I’m excited when Trevor’s in the game. We have confidence in both of them. He came in and he performed. It sucked that we fell short, but we were this close. We were this close, and I wish we could’ve got back out there on offense because we started clicking. We were rolling when we got in that tempo.
