Past, present Packers players react to team acquiring Micah Parsons

The Green Bay Packers are going all-in. The team has added one of the best players in the entire NFL via trade, acquiring Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys. 

The Packers are now one of the most exciting teams in the NFL, and fans around the league will be eagerly watching to see how far this team can go.

Parsons is one of the best players in the NFL, regardless of position. And yet the Packers needed only two first-round picks and one veteran defensive linemen in order to acquire him.

Parsons was subject to trade rumors for many weeks after he initially said that he wanted out of Dallas. Now, as the calendar is about to turn to September, Green Bay is the franchise to land the deal. It’s hard for fans not to be extremely excited, and that includes the players.

There’s nothing an offense loves more than knowing they have studs on the other side of the ball. Multiple Packers receivers are already getting hyped, including first-round pick Matthew Golden.

Parsons has worn No. 11 in both college with Penn State and in the pros with Dallas. Current Packers No. 11, namely receiver Jayden Reed, is nonetheless fired up about the move. It remains to be seen if Reed with give up his number or if Parsons will have a new one.

Understandably, some former Packers players are equally as excited for the move. John Kuhn posted on X after the trade.

Former Packers QB Kurt Benkert is more known for his social media presence than his NFL career, but he nonetheless understands the magnitude of such a move.
