Pat McAfee has made a final decision on hosting a live show at the 2025 NFL Draft.
Last month, McAfee told viewers he would not be broadcasting his show from the draft in Green Bay after a negative experience doing it during this year's Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. McAfee complained about "insufficient respect" from the people in the league's "middle management" positions.
"I do appreciate that becoming a massive story on the internet,” McAfee said at the time. “Because I was just kinda telling our people, like, ‘Hey, we’re not going.’ And then I’m being very transparent about the reason why.”
Well, whatever took place in Indianapolis seems to have been rectified. McAfee confirmed Tuesday afternoon that he will be taking his eponymous show to Green Bay.

“Full chaos next Thursday night at the NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which we will be at,” McAfee said. “Shout out to the NFL folks, shout out to the, you know, let’s go shake their hand, try to make a positive out of this entire thing, which we will always try to do in every situation, legitimately. There might be some times where it doesn’t feel that way, but inevitably going to try to be an additive to everything. So we will be there. Full chaos is potentially looming for this NFL Draft.”
McAfee is probably referring to last year's draft show, when he and his constituents skirted the rules against pick-tipping during the YouTube/ESPN+ broadcast.
We're not sure if the crew was reprimanded at all by the league, but even if they were, it's probably not going to stop McAfee and company next week.
The 2025 NFL Draft will get underway next Thursday night with the first round from Lambeau Field and the Titletown District in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The second and third rounds will follow on Friday night, with rounds 4-through-7 closing out Saturday.
