Aaron Rodgers is a lot of things. He also might be clairvoyant. The former New York Jets quarterback and one-time Jeopardy host has been contemplating signing with either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the New York Giants. He was also considering retirement.

ESPN personality Pat McAfee took to social media to cite several quotes from Rodgers from years ago which might show which way the former Green Bay Packers superstar is leaning.

Rodgers spoke to McAfee about his being enamored with the Steelers and how much respect he has for Steelers' boss Mike Tomlin.

Rodgers made it clear that he has become close with many of the Steelers personnel that he's encountered through the years.

"I love Pittsburgh ... it's a great blue collar tahn (town) Mike Tomlin is a fantastic coach who knows how to lead and players love playing for," Rodgers said to McAfee in 2021.

The Steelers might be the most attractive of the two teams currently in the running. hey have plenty in place to give Rodgers the tools he needs to win now.

Pittsburgh also traded for wide receiver DK Metcalf. He and George Pickens give the Steelers one of the fastest and best receiving tandems in the NFL.

As a quarterback, it must be a dream for Rodgers to have a pair of receivers working outside the numbers like Metcalf and Pickens.

This by no means says the Giants are off the table. This is merely a series of statements made by Rodgers years ago, but it gives a clear statement of his affinity for Pittsburgh and the organization.
