Patrick Mahomes Awaiting Chiefs’ Announcement Before Colts Game

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs find themselves on a two-game losing streak following their Week 11 loss to the Denver Broncos. Sitting at 5-5 on the 2025 NFL season, the Chiefs will look to get back on track in Week 12, returning to Arrowhead Stadium to host Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts.

While the Chiefs have dealt with numerous injuries on the offensive side of the ball, including running back Isiah Pacheco, who has missed the last two games, Mahomes has still found success. The former Texas Tech quarterback has completed 233 of 361 passes for 2,625 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. Yet he could be without a couple more key offensive pieces against the Colts.

Starting left guard Kingsley Suamataia and wide receiver Xavier Worthy have been dealing with injuries following the loss to Denver. Suamataia was forced to leave the game early after suffering a concussion, while Worthy experienced a minor setback with his ankle issue.

Leading up to the game against Indianapolis, both players were unable to practice to start the week before being upgraded to limited participants on Thursday. But on Friday, Suamataia and Worthy returned to practice as full participants but were still ruled questionable for Week 12, leaving Mahomes potentially without some key pieces.

Unfortunately for Kansas City, it will be without Pacheco yet again, the third-straight game he has missed.

"Isiah Pacheco is out for Sunday's game against the Colts," the Chiefs wrote on X. "Kingsley Suamataia and Xavier Worthy are questionable."

Mahomes and the Chiefs will take on the Colts on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET. Then, they will have just a few days off before hitting the road to face the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
