The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Houston Texans in Week 14 of the NFL season.
The Chiefs have entered must-win territory as they sit at 6-6 and are on the outside looking in to the AFC playoff picture with five games to go.
It won't be an easy task going up against a tough Houston defense.
Meanwhile, things aren't going to get any easier for Kansas City on the offensive side of the ball.
Left tackle Josh Simmons suffered a dislocated and fractured wrist in the Chiefs' loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. He was seen exiting AT&T Stadium with a cast on his arm.
On Wednesday, the Chiefs placed Simmons on injured reserve after undergoing successful wrist surgery.
In a corresponding move, they promoted offensive tackle Esa Pole to the 53-man roster.

The Simmons injury directly affects Patrick Mahomes, as Simmons protected the two-time MVP's blind side.
Simmons is in his first season in the NFL after Kansas City drafted him 32nd overall in April.
He played his college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was a part of their College Football Playoff national championship-winning team.
Mahomes and company will kick off against the Texans at 8:20 p.m. ET on "Sunday Night Football" on NBC and Peacock.
