Patrick Mahomes shares his wealth and platform to help worthy. He already has the non-profit 15 and the Mahomies Foundation which helps improve children’s lives. Likewise, he started a voter registration project before the 2020 United States presidential election.

This time, the three-time Super Bowl champion will impart his legacy to high school football. The six-time Pro Bowler announced that he will be partnering with Adidas to provide custom jerseys to 15 high school football programs. The number of schools is an obvious reference to his jersey number.

“Some of you may have seen Texas Tech wearing jerseys with my gladiator logo with Adidas. But it was just the beginning. Tonight, I’m proud to announce that I’m partnering with Adidas to create custom jerseys not just for college teams but for 15 high schools across the country too,” Mahomes shared during his induction speech into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.

Patrick Mahomes already named his high school alma mater team, the Whitehouse Wildcats, as one of the recipients. He even gave a preview by showing a Whitehouse jersey bearing his custom logo, handed to him by his wife, Brittany Mahomes.

In his senior high school season, Mahomes had 4,619 passing yards, 948 rushing yards, and 65 touchdowns (50 passing). In addition to football, he also played basketball and baseball for Whitehouse.

The setup for Mahomes’ new initiative will be like the arrangement with Adidas in helping his college alma mater. Aside from providing uniforms for the Red Raiders, the two-time NFL Most Valuable Player donated $5 million for the improvement of football-related facilities and programs.

Patrick Mahomes finished his three-year stint at Texas Tech with 857 completions for 11,252 passing yards and 93 touchdowns. He surpassed the 5,000-yard mark in his final year with the Red Raiders, making him a Second-Team All-Big 12 member. Mahomes also added 22 rushing touchdowns out of 829 yards in three years at Lubbock.

After playing for Texas Tech, Mahomes joined the Kansas City Chiefs as the tenth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. By his second season, he was already an MVP and a Super Bowl champion. Mahomes is a three-time All-Pro and a three-time Super Bowl MVP winner.
