Patrick Mahomes Makes Big Personal Move Amid NFL Season

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is already off to an impressive start after eight years in the NFL.

Mahomes has three Super Bowl titles, six Pro Bowl trips, two NFL MVP awards and three Super Bowl MVP awards.

This year hasn't been as kind for Mahomes and the Chiefs as they began the year 0-2 with losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles before defeating the New York Giants on Sunday night to get their first win.

Still, Mahomes is one of the best players in the league and has still found a way to play at a high level despite injuries to the offense.

Off the field, the Chiefs quarterback is still making big moves, even with a huge Week 3 clash against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens coming up.

In the offseason, it was revealed that Mahomes was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame and that he and Adidas would sign 15 high school football programs under "Team Mahomes."

The uniforms would feature his Gladiator logo, and his alma mater, Whitehouse, was mentioned at the time when the announcement came in May.

Now, the full list has been revealed, per Keegan Pope of Rivals.

It's a classy move by the superstar quarterback, and Longview ISD Athletic Director and Head Football Coach John King released a statement after his school made the list.

“We are deeply honored that a premier brand like adidas, and one of the most successful athletes in Patrick Mahomes, hand-picked our program,” King said, via The East Texas Review. “The best want to work with the best, and this partnership further showcases that Longview Lobo football is respected and recognized as one of the best in the nation. Our players, students, alumni, and community deserve this moment.”
