Patrick Mahomes Makes His Opinion On Chiefs Weapons Clear

For a couple of years now, many have felt the Kansas City Chiefs have been lacking when it comes to perimeter weapons for Patrick Mahomes. But the two-time MVP doesn't believe that should be anyone's concern heading into 2025.

Sitting down with FanDuel's Kay Adams, the Chiefs superstar QB talked about how this is the deepest offensive group Kansas City has ever had in his time there; and how he feels defenses aren't going to be able to lock in on any one target when it comes to how the reigning AFC champs can attack you.

"I think it's gonna come from everywhere," Mahomes said. "Obviously, you've got Rashee [Rice] being back. He looks great. You have Xavier Worthy, who came on so strong at the end of last year. You have Hollywood Brown healthy again. Guys everywhere."

"You add in Travis Kelce, a Hall of Famer. Noah Gray, a great tight end, and everybody that we've added to all those different rooms. We have so many weapons," Patrick continued. "Let's go out there and just maximize it all. It's not gonna be just one person. It's gonna be the entire offense going out there and showcasing what the Kansas City Chiefs truly are."

Injuries definitely bit the Chiefs a bit in the cases of Rice, Brown and running back Isiah Pacheco— all of whom missed significant time during last year's 15-2 campaign.

And while KC's offense might not boast marquee names like Tyreek Hill anymore, there's certainly a lot that opponents will have to account for when they face the nine-time defending AFC West champs.

For all that's been made about the Chiefs' offensive "struggles" it didn't stop them from being 60 minutes away from the NFL's first Super Bowl three-peat— and they'll be taking the field with something to prove this fall.
