Patrick Mahomes' Mom In Dallas For 'Big' Announcement

It is an eventful time in the Mahomes family - a time of both triumph and tragedy.

Super Bowl 59 was of course a disappointment for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. ... and that sporting loss was followed by a real-life tragedy as Mahomes' maternal grandfather recently passed away.

But the family is carrying on, and Patrick's mom, Randi, appears to be ready to share some uplifting personal news.

Randi has developed her own public persona, of course, the result of being the mom of the Chiefs superstar quarterback. And as of Sunday, she started hinting that something "big" is in the works.

"Can't wait to share something Big!!" Randi posted to X, while dressed up for what looked like a sit-down interview with journalist Kristen Jones, the setting seemingly in Dallas.

The Mahomes family of course has its Texas roots.

So what's going on?

"So blessed with Kristen Jones and the time she got to spend with me today for the project," Randi wrote. "My favorite is when worlds collide and she and I talk about being sports moms."

Jones has a background in sports and is a motivational speaker and authot.

Does this mean Randi - who has involved herself with social media and podcasts - is writing a book?

There are certainly tales to be told and lessons to be taught if Randi Mahomes' "big'' announcement is about her making a move up in media circles.
