Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have finally found their stride, jumping to 4-3 on the 2025 NFL season after a 31-0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. Now, Mahomes and the Chiefs will look to secure their third straight win, hosting the Washington Commanders in Week 8's edition of "Monday Night Football."
Mahomes’ mom, Randi Mahomes, has been one of the Chiefs’ biggest supporters since her son joined the team in 2017. She’s attended countless games, including all five of Kansas City’s Super Bowl appearances. During the team’s recent dynasty, Randi has also expanded her own brand, launching a clothing line with GameDay Couture, and using her personal experience raising Patrick to mentor parents of young athletes.
In late May, Randi launched an online program called The Sports Parent Academy, a “comprehensive e-course designed to guide parents raising young athletes through every stage, from toddlerhood to the pros.” And ahead of Week 8, she shared an exciting update about the program, announcing a big change for the course.
"Wow… time flies!" Randi wrote on Instagram. "Mia’s first year in high school is flying by and it’s been a minute since I gave you an update on my Sports Parent Academy adventure. We’re making the SPA even more accessible for everyone and made it even easier to join! I can’t wait to see more parents and kids in our community. I’m so pumped and will be sharing more soon - stay tuned!"
Included in the post was a video of Randi sharing more information on the Sports Parent Academy.
"I have an announcement," Randi said. "We're making Sports Parent Academy even more accessible with a new price change, and here's the best part. Your membership doesn't just give you resources. It gives you direct access to the world's best coaches and fitness research and nutrition. And these are the best experts that are trusted by athletes and families around the country.
"So, if you've been thinking about joining, now's the time. This is your chance to learn from the best. Connect with the community of sports parents and to set your child up for success both on and off the field. I can't wait to see you inside the academy. It's gonna change the game for you and your family."
Mahomes and the Chiefs will take on the Commanders on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET.
