The Denver Broncos were among the biggest surprises in the NFL last season as they finished 10-7 and reached the postseason for the first time since 2015. While they suffered a 31-7 blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round, things appear to be trending in the right direction.
The Broncos have made several big-time moves, notably agreeing to deals with safety Talanoa Hufanga, linebacker Dre Greenlaw, and tight end Evan Engram. Patrick Surtain II weighed in on their additions with a simple tweet on Wednesday.
Surtain II is coming off of a big year as he recorded 45 total tackles, 34 solo tackles, one tackle for loss, four interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and 11 passes defended. He was named the 2024 AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year. The star cornerback also earned his third consecutive Pro Bowl nod and second first-team All-Pro selection in the past three seasons.

The Broncos' defense was among the best in the league as they ranked third in scoring defense and seventh in yards allowed. The additions of Hufanga and Greenlaw should lead to an even stronger unit in 2025.
Meanwhile, Denver struggled to get much production from the tight end position despite ranking tenth in scoring offense and 19th in yards. Their four tight ends combined for just 51 receptions, 483 yards, and five touchdowns. They did not have a single player at the position finish with 20 receptions or 200 yards.
