The New England Patriots hold the No. 4 overall pick in the first round of a stacked defensive tackle draft class.
With the NFL Scouting Combine underway this week in Indianapolis, the Patriots have met with projected top-ten pick, Michigan DT Mason Graham. Graham made it official during his press conference on Wednesday morning.
Graham had a very decorated college career as a Wolverine, most notably winning the National Championship in 2023 with Jim Harbaugh. Other exceptional accolades Graham earned include Freshman All-American, 2x First-Team All-Big Ten, and was voted as a unanimous All-American this past season for Michigan.
Graham, listed as 6’3 320 lbs, is slated to workout on Thursday for teams alongside other uber-talented defensive linemen entering the NFL Draft.
New England has a glaring need all across the defensive line, starting at the core. Christian Barmore battled health issues all of last season and HC Mike Vrabel recently stated he was uncertain about a return. Davon Godchaux, Jeremiah Pharms, and Jaquelin Roy are other defensive tackles set to return who also shared snaps for New England last season.
The Patriots will conduct plenty of interviews this week with incoming 2025 NFL Draft prospects. Stay locked into Athlon Sports to remain up to date on the latest NFL news and rumors.
