The New England Patriots have been considered a suitor for wide receiver Cooper Kupp, giving them a potential star talent to pair with youngster Drake Maye.
With a slew of cap space, picks to trade, and a young star quarterback, the Patriots could get creative this offseason.
There are a few areas they'll have to improve if they want to be one of the better teams in the NFL, but on paper, the Patriots look to be in a good position moving forward.
Kupp would help with that, but landing him won't be easy.
Because of how talented Kupp is, many teams around the league will be interested in trading for him.
Vinnie Iyer of Sporting News predicted that team would be the Pittsburgh Steelers, adding how they want to add a wide receiver and how he could fit with any quarterback they decide to sign.
"The Steelers would especially love to have him play off speedy deep threat George Pickens to give themselves a stable, reliable route-runner. Kupp can mesh with whoever the team decides to start at QB," Iyer wrote.
If Kupp has any say, he could be intrigued with playing for the Patriots.
The Steelers are one of the better organizations in NFL history, but with many question marks at the quarterback position, he might want to go somewhere he knows he could get the ball.
If Maye showed anything in 2024, he has the ability to do just that.
