Patriots Sign Former Bills Wide Receiver To Two-Year Deal

The New England Patriots are in the market for a wide receiver, and with many of the top options no longer available, they had to look elsewhere.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Patriots have agreed to terms with former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins on a two-year deal worth $8.4 million that maxes out at $10.4 million.

Hollins and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels were together with the Las Vegas Raiders, where Hollins had the best single-game performance of his career.

Hollins had 158 yards and a touchdown on eight catches against the Mike Vrabel-coached Tennessee Titans. With Vrabel and McDaniels coaching in New England, Hollins already has an in-house connection.

Hollins is a seven-year veteran who has played with five different teams in his career. He was drafted in the fourth round by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, then went to the Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, and finally the Buffalo Bills in 2024.

Across his career, Hollins has had a very limited role offensively. His best season came with the Raiders and McDaniels. He had 690 yards and four touchdowns.

In 2024, Hollins was a contributor for the Bills in a limited role, hauling in 378 yards and five touchdowns. With the Patriots for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, Hollins projects to be an extra piece to the offense for Drake Maye.

Hollins is the first offensive weapon added for Maye during the 2025 offseason. There are likely to be more additions, whether it's at wide receiver or running back.

Hollins will be 32 years old at the start of the 2025 NFL season and will have a solid role in the Patriots' offense throughout his two-year contract.
