The New England Patriots will unveil legendary quarterback Tom Brady's bronze statue on Friday, August 8, at Gillette Stadium before the Patriots' first preseason game of 2025. The quarterback will be in attendance for the long-awaited reveal and is expected to speak along with Patriots' owner Robert Kraft.

Kraft announced at Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony on June 12, 2024, that a 12-foot statue of Brady was in the works to be displayed outside Gillette Stadium. Although the original plan was to have the statue unveiled during the 2024 season. The Patriots' owner revealed the statue has been ready in storage for over a year, but the organization wanted to wait until they could get Brady to Foxborough for the unveiling.

The original plan was to unveil the statue in week five last season against the Miami Dolphins. Brady was set to broadcast the game, and it provided the perfect opportunity for the celebration. However, neither team started the year well, and FOX decided not to send its No. 1 team out for the broadcast.

Now, as the 2025 season approaches, Kraft and Brady will finally get to enjoy the moment of the unveiling of Brady's statue on Friday. In the hours leading to kickoff with the Washington Commanders, there will be a short ceremony, which will be shown on the video boards inside Gillette Stadium as well as from the plaza outside the Hall of Fame.

Although Brady's statue has been ready for over a year, Friday will not only be the first time the public sees it, but it'll be the first time Brady sees it as well.

"He hasn't seen it. It's pretty cool. It's 12 feet, and it's going to be permanently in front of Patriot Place in a prominent spot," Kraft said on the Up and Adams Show (h/t CBS Boston). "We are really honored to have had the privilege to have him with us for two decades. It will be a fun day."

It should be a special day for Kraft and Brady, as well as the many fans in attendance, as they watch the statue reveal of one of the greatest players ever. The seven-time Super Bowl champion earned 14 trips to the Pro Bowl, three MVP awards, and three All-Pro honors during his 20 years in New England.
