The Las Vegas Raiders are entering a new era during the 2025 NFL season with Pete Carroll now in charge. The Super Bowl-winning head coach, in conjunction with new general manager John Spytek, has completely overhauled the roster this offseason.

Despite all of these moving pieces for the Silver and Black, however, Carroll spoke to the media on Tuesday before training camp and made a guarantee to Raider Nation for the upcoming season.

"We're going to win a bunch of games. ... I've been winning 10 games a year for 20 years," Carroll said. "I mean, what are my expectations? We're going to win a bunch. And I don't care, you know, who hears that. I mean, it doesn't matter to me. It ain't about what anybody hears. It's about what we do."

Carroll has 18 years of head coaching experience in the NFL under his belt, the last 14 of which he spent with the Seattle Seahawks. There, he went to two Super Bowls, winning one, and made 10 playoff appearances.

He comes to Las Vegas with a career win percentage of 58.6%, as well as a 60.6% clip at his most recent stop in Seattle. The Raiders, by contrast, have just two winning campaigns and two playoff appearances since the 2004 season.

New quarterback Geno Smith and No. 6 overall pick Ashton Jeanty headline a completely revamped Raiders offense in 2025, so the team should be ready to compete in a loaded AFC West division.
