Pete Carroll provides an injury update for the Las Vegas Raiders after their close loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 4

During the game, we saw two players for the Las Vegas Raiders get hurt. One was starting cornerback, and maybe CB1, Eric Stokes . The other, well, one of the best players on the entire team, in left tackle Kolton Miller, who was carted off the field.

After the game, Pete Carroll provided an injury update.

“Eric [Stokes] sprained his knee a little bit, and Kolton Miller sprained his ankle," Carroll told reporters at the podium.

They will desperately need both of them.

Two rookies now have a potential chance at starting if Stokes and Miller can't go

With Stokes, it sounds like he can still play next week against the Indianapolis Colts. However, a sprained knee could hold him out, depending on how bad it is. But, with Carroll saying "a little bit," there is reason to believe that the sprain isn't so bad.

This gives Darien Porter Jr., who many people thought would be a starter in training camp because of how good a camp he had, a chance to become the guy. He was drafted in the third round, has tremendous size and speed, and is still learning how to play the position. Before this game, Porter had only had 16 total defensive snaps. He needs the rest to get better.

With Miller, we all saw him on the ground, yelling and slamming his fist on the ground. Honestly, at first, I thought it was his shoulder, as he was somewhat holding his arm. But he was carted off the field, which wouldn't have been the case necessarily if it were a shoulder injury. Miller is the best offensive lineman, certainly in pass protection, and is pretty good in run blocking.

This gives Charles Grant, or Thayer Munford, the chance at starting at left tackle. Grant is a rookie who was drafted in the fourth round and has shown some great potential.
