PFF Gives Bengals 'Good' Grade For Tee Higgins Deal

The Bengals have Tee Higgins locked in for the next four seasons and Pro Football Focus is a fan of the deal. The outlet gave Cincinnati a "good" grade for the signing.

Higgins reportedly agreed to a four-year, $115 million contract with the team.

"While we don’t have the full guarantees for Tee Higgins' deal, we do know that the per-year average is below our expectations," the article stated. "It’s not just about keeping Higgins, who earned a career-high 88.2 PFF overall grade in 2024; this deal was announced at the same time as a long-term extension for Ja'Marr Chase, keeping the NFL's best wide receiver duo in Cincinnati for the next four years."

The deal actually came in $5 million less overall than PFF projected, with Cincinnati getting a clear bargain in the process, despite dragging it out and possibly paying far more than they would've in 2023 or 2024.

The 26-year-old finished with 73 catches for 911 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns last season. He is now the highest-paid No. 2 WR in the NFL at $28.75 million per year.
