Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald is all about versatility, and that doesn't just go for the defensive front seven. Since the team has multiple spots along the offensive line that could use an upgrade, it wouldn't hurt to target players who can play multiple positions in the 2025 NFL draft.

The Seahawks have five picks in the first three rounds and five more picks on Day 3, giving them ample opportunity to upgrade the interior of their offensive line. While we expect the the team to address the line early in the draft, there are a mid-round options worth a strong look.

A new feature from Pro Football Focus highlighted the best Day 3 draft fit for each team. North Carolina offensive lineman Willie Lampkin was PFF's choice for the Seahawks.

"Seattle needs to get creative to find starting-caliber players on the interior," wrote PFF's Mason Cameron. "Lampkin’s size (5-foot-10 and 270 pounds) is a significant outlier, which may cause some NFL teams to pass on him."

It's hard to believe a starting offensive lineman could survive at that size in the NFL, but PFF believes the film doesn't show Lampkin's size to be an issue.

"However, that deficiency rarely showed up on tape, and his grading profile across five seasons — particularly, a 90.4 PFF grade on zone runs — looks as dominant as anyone's in the class," explained Cameron. "Lampkin would be an excellent fit for a Seahawks offense that finished in the top 10 in inside-zone rate last season."

The Seahawks could look to develop Lampkin at center, where he played an entire season in 2022. His versatility and experience at guard should only increase his chances of of making it at the next level.

In terms of his overall game, Lampkin's run blocking is solid and his pass protection is equally as impressive, allowing just one sack in three seasons. The Seahawks need someone who can slow down interior pressure and the Tarheels lineman looks up to the part.

Currently, Lampkin is rated 138th on the Pro Football Focus big board. He's an intriguing option in the fifth or sixth rroundunds for Seattle.
