PFF Ranks Geno Stone Among Top-20 NFL Safeties

Geno Stone is the newest Bengals safety and their best after a rough stretch from that position in 2023. PFF has him ranked 20th among NFL safeties entering the season.

Stone was second in the NFL with seven interceptions in his final season with Baltimore.

"Stone made the most of a heavier workload in 2023," Zoltán Buday wrote. "He put together an impressive season in which he led all safeties with seven interceptions and earned an 85.3 PFF coverage grade that ranked seventh at the position. However, Stone ranked on the other end of the spectrum against the run, as his 34.2 run-defense grade placed last among 92 qualifying safeties."

The four-year veteran got his first big payday after entering the league as a seventh-round pick and faces high expectations to be a part of the turnaround.
