Here is a quick rundown of PFR’s latest originals:

  • Stefon Diggs remains one of the top veterans still on the open market. Connor Byrne listed six potential destinations for the accomplished wideout. The Bears, Chiefs, Colts, Commanders, Rams and Ravens could each stand to make a WR addition. At least some of those potential suitors would also meet the criteria of a projected 2026 contender. Diggs – a Maryland native – has spoke about his willingness to play for Washington, although it remains to be seen if interest is mutual on that front.
  • The running back market has lagged far behind that of many other positions over the years, but Bijan Robinson (Falcons) and Jahymr Gibbs (Lions) are candidates to move the bar. Both 2023 first-rounders are under team control through the next two years, although they could land massive raises this summer. I asked readers how high the market will jump once Robinson and Gibbs have their new deals signed in PFR’s latest Community Tailgate installment. $20.6MM per year represents the current highpoint among running backs, but that could change relatively soon.
  • With the Vikings having recently tapped Nolan Teasley as their new general manager, all 32 teams have their GMs in place. Sam Robinson broke down the list of where the top front office execs stack up in terms of tenure. No movement toward the top took place this winter, despite the slew of coaching changes which were witnessed. Each of the 14 longest-tenured GMs have held their role since at least 2020. Teasley and the two other new hires for this season will look to eventually find themselves in a similar position.
  • The receiver position features several notable free agents, but the same is also true for edge rushers. Connor profiled six of the top options still on the market entering training camp. Each of Joey Bosa, Jadeveon Clowney, Von Miller, Leonard Floyd, Kyle Van Noy and Haason Reddick remain unsigned. Bosa’s playing future is unclear, but the others could offer experienced depth in the pass rush department. Contending teams in particular – along with those which suffer injuries in the summer, of course – could show interest.
  • Not long after his GM breakdown, Sam listed each of the NFL’s assistant general managers. Some teams include as many as three staffers with that title in their front offices. On the other hand, there are those which do not officially have any AGMs. Movement at that executive level is commonplace on an annual basis around the league, with top staffers taking key steps toward potentially become a general manager down the road. Taking stock of where each team stands offers interesting insight into the different approach each one takes.
  • Derwin James landed a lucrative Chargers extension this offseason, as he and the team hoped. Attention has since turned to the matter of a new deal for Tuli Tuipulotu. Connor looked into the fourth-year edge rusher’s candidacy for an extension, one which will bring about a notable raise if it is worked out. Tuipulotu, 23, earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2025 after notching 13 sacks. A deal at the top of the EDGE market would be a surprise in his case, but expectations will be high for him during the coming campaign and beyond. Khalil Mack is still in the fold for 2026, but Tuipulotu figures to serve a pivotal role well into the future provided a deal can be struck.
